TransRussia/TransLogistica: new development opportunities and transport logistics optimisation

TransRussia/TransLogistica, the 22nd international exhibition of transport and logistics services and technologies, will take place from 18-20 April 2017 at Moscow’s Crocus Expo.

Experts predict a reasonable growth for the transport and logistics services market in 2017, however market recovery will depend on the country's overall economic development. 2016 was a year of stability, whereas 2017 is expected to be a year of growth, linked to macroeconomics – rising oil prices and the strengthening of the rouble. Potential growth also poses certain challenges, as the number of market players has declined in response to the recent crisis and consolidation processes continue.

For more than 20 years, TransRussia/TransLogistica has remained the largest industry platform for representatives of the transport and logistics market tasked with sourcing quality services and products аnd new business partners.

The longstanding support the exhibition receives from government agencies, industry unions and associations demonstrates its key role in the industry. In his welcome to participants, Nikolai Asaul, Russian Deputy Minister of Transport, noted that, “TransRussia/TransLogistica is an important platform for discussing topical issues in developing Russian transport systems, and introducing new information systems to resolve logistical issues on the global transport and logistics services market.”

This year, the exhibition will feature over 300 companies presenting road, rail, air, and sea services, freight-forwarding services, cargo handling services in terminals and ports, and IT-solutions. National stands will be held by Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, and Estonia. Exhibitors will offer services for Russia, the CIS, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, North America, South America, and Asia.

Manufacturing and retail companies will be able to source reliable suppliers for optimising logistics processes and expenses for transporting any type of commercial cargo, from food products to industrial equipment.

More than 30% of companies are newcomers to the exhibition including Andsoft, Canavara Group, FKK Group, Mammoet, Toyo Trans, Trans Torg Azerbaijan, ITrend, Atlantic Cargo Service, Devolviye Linii, Oboronlogistika, Pervaya Tyazhelovesnaya Kompaniya, Samsung SDS Global SCL Russia, and Tank Container Service.
